In 10 years, the most relevant founders/names in culture will share 1 skillset today.
Top 1% distribution ability.
Put simply, great distribution = great storytelling combined with a deep (often intuitive) understanding of audience. These people are easiest to spot by their well-documented work or public writing with an audience. Their distribution now will only compound over time and earn them a leg up when they begin their life’s work. (many of whom already have).
This newsletter is concerned with people who understand how to earn eyes & put it to practice daily.
Below is a list of Jobs with A players in distribution, people who will win because of it, and 4 events that aren’t related to distribution at all. We just think you should go.
All names mentioned are past 3rd Space guests.

Brand Designer @[Untitled]
Interested in the intersection of music and tech? I don’t say this lightly and you won’t read me saying it again. This is your single best job option on the market. [Untitled] has over $20M in venture funding (led by a16z), a beautiful Williamsburg office, two lovely and incredibly humble co-founders, and a product that’s attracted the likes of Charli XCX, Fred Again, Solange, Frank Ocean, Rosalia, Willow Smith, Dominic Fike and more. This is a top 1% company in music and startups, respectively. If it sounds exciting, there’s many openings listed in the link below. I sent it to a few of my friends already. Working here can and will change someone’s life.
Marketing & Partnerships @Underground Overground Comedy
You may be familiar with the Katz’s Deli comedy show. It’s led by David Levine and Underground Overground comedy. They’re not very “underground” at this point (having just signed with WME) and they’ve got their legitimacy stamp. You’ll work under a true new yorker with the single deepest network of comedians in the city. UO Comedy takes lineups of ex SNL and other big name comedians and spots them up at unique venues around manhattan for private and ticketed events. Great backdoor way to break into comedy/entertainment.

Content Producer with Josh Harmon
Josh got his start with the coveted NBC page program before becoming a writer on the TODAY show. After 3 years, he spun off to go full time on his content. He’s amassed nearly 5 million followers on Instagram with collabs with Post Malone, Joe Jonas, Laufey, etc. Josh is expanding his long form content on Youtube and needs help researching, producing and editing. There’s a variety of ways to contribute if you want to work and learn under a class act character who knows how to make content people want to watch.

Atticus Perry, 21
Possibly the most talented object designer/ceramicist I’ve seen. Currently a student at Pratt, he’s only getting started. He sculpts playful figures while simultaneously majoring in industrial engineering. As he matures, his taste for creativity will bleed into more established projects. Check out his IG content.

Sophia Wilson, 25
Phia has created a digital identity that embodies the cool girl everyone wishes they knew. One of new York’s strongest editorial photographers. N of 1 world builder and a machine for iconic work. 30u30, already won awards, we are unfortunately not early, but it’s never too late to follow someone with taste.

Leah Marcus, 25
Founder of Hot Girl Pickles. Heard of it? Every day Leah makes content about building in CPG. She’s built an audience and a brand off an incredibly consistent content schedule. Her company, Good Girl Snacks, had a massive following before anyone had even tried their product. The brand, is only going up. Look for Pink and Blue packaging in the Whole Foods pickle aisle.

Sam Snowden, 26
Founded Create More Studios and has built ties with what feels like every young leader bubbling up right now. He earns friends in the first three minutes of meeting him. Sam understands how to distribute as a storyteller. He’s also one of the most thoughtful and caring guys out there.
people you should hire

Max Lin, 26
Max is a charmer. He’s also an amazing videographer, He’s shot for Warner, Sony, Adidas, Joji, Rich Brian. I love Max. Anyone who has the privilege of talking with him will too. Hire him
*Joji is my fav artist. Biased inclusion of him on this list. If you aren’t familiar yet, familiarize.

Shamus Madan, 19
You read the age right. Shamus built a viral B2B Linkedin ghostwriting agency that’s 5xing his clients revenue. All with no churn, he is the single scrappiest young builder I (or anyone I know who knows him) has ever met. For all those who ask me to ghostwrite, he’s my endorsement.

Callie Reiff, 26
Looking to Hire a relevant DJ? Callie’s your gal. She has nearly 70k on IG and is one of few DJs in NYC with community behind her name and brand. Where she goes people follow with pumping firsts and radical joy.

closing note
You probably found us through Instagram. It’s all ominous and loosely explained over there, we know. To add some color, we’re a dinner series to connect exceptional (but low ego) young people. Pretty simple, nothing new. We talk to every guest on the phone via a *referral system. We do our best to help as many people as we can by supercharging their networks.
*We follow all our past guests. if you know someone who’s been, ask them about us.
Cheers again,
Jake
